Serenity and her son Seneca were found in Imperial County and taken into a shelter with limited means. When The Rescue House had a chance to help out, we took in the mother-son duo.

Serenity is a chatterbox who will start talking as soon as she sees you. She loves attention and is very appreciative of your company. This sweet girl definitely has a curious streak, and you can see Serenity peeking around corners when she thinks something interesting is going on.
Seneca believes in rubbing his face and body against you in order to beseech attention—good luck trying to get a photo of him! He also likes conversations and is a happy playful boy.
Serenity and Seneca clearly enjoy each other’s company: they tussle, snuggle, groom, share their feathered toys, ribbons, and lasers, and generally are very focused toward each other. Seneca has never known life apart from his mother. They MUST be adopted together.

Serenity and Seneca should do well with other cats if properly introduced. We don’t know their thoughts on dogs. Respectful children would likely be fine once they have a chance to meet and also become familiar with their environment.

Serenity and Seneca are a fantastic duo! Will you get to enjoy their company for a lifetime?

About THE RESCUE HOUSE

About Our Rescue Group...

The Rescue House is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to assisting cats through its rescue, foster and adoption activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless and abused cats. We open our arms to cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. We find good homes for every cat that we take in - we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We at The Rescue House believe that we can contribute to the welfare of our furry friends by implementing an Adoption Program. Our Adoption Centers are located in retail pet stores whose philosophy agrees with The Rescue House's mission. A list of the adoption centers can be found here: http://www.rescuehouse.org/adoption-centers.html

Our Adoption Process...

All prospective adopters must complete an application and be interviewed as part of the adoption process.
