Hi, I'm Mikey! I am 12 pounds of Chihuahua love, looking for a lap to curl up in and a new wardrobe.
I'm about four years old. I get along great with cats. I'm neutered and I just had my teeth cleaned. As you would expect from a dog of my size, I love to cuddle on the couch. As my foster family has discovered, if there is room, I'll happily curl up in someone's lap. When there is no time for lovey-dovey on the couch, I always follow my foster parents everywhere. My favorite spot to be is between their ankles, so I can be sure not to miss anything. It's fun to dance between their feet.
As you can see by my picture, I always enjoy wearing stylish doggie clothes. Nothing would be more fun than going shopping but I am a little nervous riding in the car. Sometimes, I even start to cry. I've been told that if I started associating riding in the car with my favorite treat, I'd change my whole opinion but have not been convinced yet. Maybe you can help, so we can go shopping for my new wardrobe together.
I love going on walks around the neighborhood, I just can't figure out why I need to keep pulling on the leash so we keep going. I like to move fast and I am confident if I pull hard enough on the leash I can get you to go faster. My foster family is working on teaching me that is not the way a dog walk works.
