My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Aspen, I am just a pup but I am super smart! I have mastered the stairs, dog door, I sit when asked, and almost a pro at being house trained. I get along with my foster doggy siblings very well, one chihuahua doesn't like anyone but I don't care, I still lick her and give her love while she goes insane trying to make me stop but hey, I'm a lover and spread it around thick.

I love treats, and dog beds, my favorite! I will drop on my back if you even show the slightest intention of rubbing my belly. I go to bed without a sound when it's bedtime. I sit nice and quiet and wait patiently to see who is coming in the door while my foster siblings bark like crazy. {{{so loud!}}

I am looking for a forever home to pal around, get free tummy rubs, and chase things that you throw for me. Please have cheese! I love cheese sticks! I'm super adventurous and hey let's face it, I am beautiful (my foster mom tells me everyday) especially when I flash my green eyes.

NorCal Bully Breed Rescue is a foster based rescue with foster homes spread all throughout the Sacramento area. We usually require our adopters to be within a 50 to 100 mile radius of us, depending on the dog, and depending on the home. This is because we need to do a yard check to guarantee that the potential adopter's yard is secure, and also have them be close enough should any behavioral issues arise, and the assistance of our trainer is needed. We are, however, willing to adopt out of our area, including the Bay Area, Tahoe, and even further. We've even adopted out of state on very special occasions. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a "first come, first serve" basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the dog and range from $200-$350. In the case of senior dogs (6+ years), fees will be waived to the right home. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and deworming (if necessary). If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you can visit our website at norcalbullybreedrescue.com and fill out an adoption application (from your home computer). Please allow at least 24 to 48 hours for a reply.

Aspen's adoption donation is $350.

Interested in meeting Aspen or any of our available pooches? Complete and submit our adoption application online at norcalbullybreedrescue.com and we'll be in touch!
