Important Note

Dmitri is best friends with Diana. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Dimitri and his sister Diana are two sweet siblings who were rescued last year. For reasons unknown, they were overlooked as kittens, so they've been waiting a long time to meet you! Since we want to keep these two together, we are charging a reduced adoption fee of $150 for both. They are both spayed/neutered, vaccinated and have both been tested for FIV and feline leukemia. Call or text their foster mom at 254-415-5438 to meet them.

About Texas Pawprints Cat & Kitten Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our group's founders came from other cat rescue groups as we wanted to accept the cats others would not accept; older animals, injured, FIV positive and black cats/kittens. We also assist with TNR and have several traps to loan. We are small and informal, and always welcome new volunteers in any capacity.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events every weekend at several Hollywood Feed locations, including their Preston/Royal, Uptown and Lakewood stores. Please check out our Facebook page or call/text 214-912-2573 to find out when our next adoption event will be held.

If you're not able to visit an adoption event, send us an email and we can arrange to meet you at a local business or your vet's office.

Email hairball@texaspawprints.org for weekend adoption event starting times.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask all potential adoptors to complete an application/contract. Next, we interview all potential adoptors. We ask about previous pets owned, if all family members want to adopt, and the conditions in which the animal will live.

Generally we will not finalize an adoption if the animal will be allowed outdoors unsupervised, or if all family members do not agree to the adoption. We also discourage declawing of cats.

Our adoption fee is $95 and covers a test for FIV and feline leukemia, at least one vaccination, and a spay or neuter surgery. All pets are wormed and vaccinated.
