Charlie is wondering when somebody is gonna' get him outta here! He came to us back in December as a 6 month old puppy, scared of the world. He soon blossomed into a goofy, happy, loving puppy and was adopted a couple times but it never worked out. Once he was returned after a month because they "became allergic", and the second time around he chased the cats. Whoever adopts Charlie needs to understand that he's basically grown up in a shelter and missed out on a lot of training and socialization because of it. He is not an aggressive dog, just exuberant and lacks manners so will need someone who will take training classes or someone who will work with him. He is a typical Pit Bull...super sweet, super loving, and thinks he is a lap dog. He gets along well with other playful dogs his size but does play rough. He needs a home without cats or small dogs, and small children freak him out but the big ones are fine.

If you have time and love to provide to a very sweet and very overlooked dog, come meet Charlie

About Common Sense For Animals

About Our Shelter...

CSA was founded in 1990 by Veterinarian, Robert R Blease, DVM to provide an organization where all persons and groups can logically and intellectually discuss all issues affecting animal welfare. CSA has a "common sense" philosophy regarding food animals, wildlife, research and companion pets. We operate a No-kill Shelter and believe education and community service are our most valuable assets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Shelter is located at 2420 Route 57, Broadway, NJ.
