Magnolia's Story...
Magnolia and her brothers and sisters came to us when her mom picked a garage that belonged to one of our foster families to have her babies in mid-August, 2016. All have been very healthy and sweet kittens we have especially enjoyed. Magnolia is playful with toys and her littermates, but she is also very soft and cuddly with her long fluffy hair that she keeps very neat. She has had contact with other cats and with cat- friendly dogs. She likely would be fine with children. She is not too sure about dogs. Magnolia has been dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. She was spoken for early, but her adopter had a change of circumstances so she is looking for a home after all. To meet Magnolia, call 540/586-6100 or go to to get an Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magnolia, a Bedford Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
