Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Max" (aka Coal) is a handsome 10-year old male Labrador Retriever mix who arrived at the HSOV on January 24, 2017 after he was picked up on State Route 550 in Warren Township by the Washington County (Ohio) Dog Warden.
"Max" has a short smooth coat which appears to be black when you see him indoor, but when he is in the sunlight his coat glistens with chocolate brown shading. He has a long tail which is constantly in motion :) "Max" has a darling face with sparkling brown eyes and long floppy ears. He has a dusting of white on his muzzle which gives him a very distinguished-looking appearance.
"Max" defies the chronological age which is listed on his kennel card and is full of playful energy. He gets sooo excited when staff and volunteers take him outdoors for walks. "Max" wants attention more than anything else in the world and is eager to meet new people in anticipation of being noticed.
Someone who recognized Max told us that he was good with other dogs and cats and that he loved children. And we believe that he is housebroken.
"Max" weighs approximately 40 lbs. and has been neutered.
"Max" participated in a Red Carpet premiere of the move 'Rock Dog' on February 24, 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed his evening on the town :)
