Meet Charlie! Charlie has the most gorgeous bright green eyes and the softest brown tabby coat. Charlie is about a year old. Charlie is a very sweet boy and loves having his chin scratched, if he is really into it he will even move toward you and headbutt you for more. In our busy cattery, Charlie is a little nervous, so he is often found hiding in his cubby, but once you gain his trust he is so loving. With a good amount of time to settle in and lots of love and patience, Charlie will be the best companion anyone could ask for. Because he is so scared and can be a little sassy, he needs a home without young kids. Our vet services team found that Charlie had a few dental issues. They performed a dental cleaning and a few extractions. Our vet team will be happy to talk with you further about keeping Charlie's teeth healthy as he ages. If you are ready for a lifetime of love, ask to meet Charlie today!

About Kitsap Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

Kitsap Humane Society is a private, nonprofit animal shelter. We rescue and rehome close to 5,000 pets each year. Every animal leaves here spayed or neutered and with complete vaccines and a microchip. We have been caring for animals in need since 1908 and envision a time when all adoptable pets have loving homes.

We are extremely proud of our exceptionally high “lives saved” rate of 94%. Through our active adoption, behavior, foster, and veterinary programs, we are able to rehome every adoptable animal that enters our facility. No animal is ever euthanized for lack of space.

In addition to caring for and adopting animals, we also provide spay/neuter services to low income residents of Kitsap County, and provide Animal Rescue and Enforcement services to our surrounding municipalities.
