Vito is a Cane Corso who was born on 3/28/16. He came to us because he was becoming aggressive with a 11 year old boy in the home. We have sent him out with a trainer for some behavorial modification. However, even with that we won't adopt him to a home with children - it just isn't worth the risk.
He appears to do much better with men than with women. He does NOT warm up quickly. If you are interested in him you should figure on multiple visits of a couple of hours each.
We are unsure exactly when he will be back from his rehab program - we will accept applications on him and notify anyone approved when he returns. He will be neutered, current on his shots, heartworm checked and micro-chipped before going to a new home.
We will be reviewing new homes for him VERY carefully given his size and what appears to be his unpredictable personality. He will require some type of containment and won't go to a home where he can just run free. He is reported as housebroken, walks well on a leash and loves car rides.
Our adoption application is on our website at www.patriotsforpets.com if you think you might be the right home for this boy once he comes back from rehab.
He looks like Scooby Doo in his first picture - caught him mid head shake.
