; ; Niki can act like a giant puppy, but she can also snap when handled in a way that she is not comfortable with. She is a big girl that does not like to give up control so touching her belly/feet etc is something that is not recommended. She can get along well with some male dogs, but should not be with female dogs and can be picky about some males as well. For this reason and her reluctance to be touched in certain ways she would not be recommended for dog parks etc. and should be in an adult only home with folks that know how to establish themselves as both the pack leader and a trusted friend. She does need strong leadership, while being fair, kind and showing her lots of love.
; Former Bio:; Niki is an owner surrender from a home that didn't have the time for her and kept her outside on a chain. She will need some training for basic obedience but is very smart; she knows sit, and when she is feeling in the mood she will give her paw, too.
; This is a strong girl, and she needs a yard and a home with patience, that is willing to commit to training.
; *Return Notes* 9/17/15 Wonderful dog, smart and cuddly. Loves outdoors and swimming. Would be great in a one dog house hold. She did not get along with our alpha female.'
