My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buck is a handsome long haired orange boy with the sweetest disposition. He is a big guy who just wants your attention and your lap. His tale is one that no rescuer ever wants to hear. Born in July, 2013, Buck was adopted out as a baby, just 11 weeks old. He was the perfect little fluffy teddy bear that you couldn’t help but fall in love with. Fast forward three years and our beautiful Buck is found wandering the streets, abandoned. Thanks to good Samaritans and a microchip, we were able to save him from a life that no cat deserves. He came back to us, matted, wounded and scared, but still the incredible love that he was. He quickly melted our hearts and wiped away our tears as we couldn’t help but feel that somehow we let this poor boy down. So again, we are searching for Buck’s perfect family and we will find him a forever home.

Buck is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this pet, you can start the process and access our pre-adoption application which is located on our website at www.startpets.net, click on "Pet Adoptions" complete the form, and send. We can also be reached at 973-785-1245 or email us at adopt@startpets.net. Please remember—out of state adoptions require additional time for approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption; not all animals on our website come to all adoption days.
