Amber is a 3-year-old Golden Retriever/Lab mix. She is a sweet, good-natured girl who enjoys getting (and giving) lots of love! She is high-spirited and energetic and makes the perfect frequent walk/run partner - she loves tug-a-war too. She has learned good boundaries in her foster home and lives harmoniously with cats, dogs, and children.
Outside of the home, other dogs are questionable to her. She is fine with other dogs once introduced, but initial meetings result in excited and reactive behavior that can hinder a good walking experience. She greatly benefits from having other dogs in the home and/or an owner who is savvy enough to work with her leash reactivity and can continue positive socialization!
Adoption Fee: $500 - Includes spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, heart worm test & treatment, grooming, microchip, boarding fees, health certificate, transport cost from Texas to Seattle, and any other unforeseen costs. If you are interested in Amber, please email email@example.com or fill out online application here.
Animal History: Amber was rescued from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Houston, Texas.
