My story

My foster family wrote the nicest little note about me, and I thought I'd share it with you.

"Riley is an absolute fantastic dog and there isn't a person we meet that doesn't want to adopt her if they could. She has puppy-like tendencies and the energy level of a wolf, but with a tiny bit of obedience classes those would all be so easily under control. That being said, at this stage of her life Riley is in need of more attention that I can fit into my schedule. Plus without us having a backyard I am unable to allow her to get her energy out on a regular basis. I've never met a dog that just wants to love you more than she does. She's an expert at cuddling and is overjoyed to see you even if you've just been gone a few minutes! Riley- with her vision being impaired, deserves a forever home, possibly more than any other dog."

When I heard that sweet little note from my foster family- me and my rescuers both cried! Happy tears though. It feels so good to be loved. I'm mostly blind- but I have been that way my whole life so I'm pretty used to it. There are doctors who also say that if my forever owners wanted to get me Lasik surgery- I would likely be able to see again! I'm not so worried about my sight though- I just want to be finally settled in to my forever home. Will you be my hero?
