Harry's Story...
We are just wild about Harry! This super handsome young boy is off of the charts wonderful. He is very friendly, charming and well-mannered too. He is good with other dogs, and is a real kissy face kind of boy.
Harry was found as a stray by friends of ours in a park and then brought to a local municipal shelter. We went to meet him at the shelter and fell madly in love, so we had to bring him into our rescue!
Harry is between 2 and 3 years old, and weighs 53lbs. He is housebroken, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and waiting to be your new best buddy for many, many years to come!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harry, a Oakland Gardens Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Oakland Gardens, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Oakland Gardens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland Gardens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland Gardens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland Gardens paves the way for another one to be saved.
