BEAUTIFUL, SHY, SWEET LITTLE GIRL!!!

UPDATE 5/6/17:

Sweet, shy Sarah arrived on 2/25/17 and she is the cutest thing!  Fully grown at about 2 ½  years old, this little tri-colored Beagle/Hound (mix) weighs a perfect 32 pounds.  Her face is so beautiful.  On her first day here she was very bewildered and scared; she just sat on her bed with big eyes—like a lot of new dogs do.

Jodie of our dog therapy group sat with her and loved on her for about an hour and Sarah began to relax and cuddle into Jodie.  But Sarah really started to relax when our precious dog Shiloh became her roommate yesterday.  In fact, Shiloh began to relax more too.

Sarah will now come up to us and accept treats with a very gentle mouth.  She is dog friendly and she warms up to people who give her the necessary time to do so.  She and Shiloh are very happy and playful together.  They run and play in the big yard and seem to forget all of their troubles out there.  They are very clean in their room too—an indication they would each be easy to house train.

Because Sarah is shy, she will need another dog in her life to hang around with.  And a securely fenced yard (or a lot of leashed walks) would be good for her too, because if she manages to escape her home she might be too shy to go to other people for help.  A home in a quiet setting, without small children, would probably be best for her.

GOOD WITH DOGS.
