Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally. To meet Summer, come to the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad 92011.
Summer is a 2-year-old, spayed, tan and white female Terrier/Dachshund mix who weighs about 13 pounds. She is very shy when first meeting someone, and does not like quick movement around her face or surprises that sneak up on her. Once she is comfortable with you, she is a real cuddle bug with a super sweet personality. Summer is a great little side kick who is a fun companion to take a ride in the car, go hiking, shopping or just about anything. She is a very loyal little dog and bonds when she feels she can trust you.
As you can see from her pictures, she has a very cute face and her coat is beautiful. Summer walks well on leash, although always cautious of her surroundings. She will be a real love bug for the right family. A home with adults would be perfect where Summer can be the only pet and receive lots of love and attention. Her favorite thing is being petted and sitting on her human’s lap. Summer is house trained, too.
To meet Summer, come to the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services, 2481 Palomar Airport Road, Carlsbad 92011. Open Tuesdays - Sundays, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. Closed Mondays and holidays.
