Harvey was found by one of our friends. Although he was malnourished and had a wound on his neck, he would not come close to humans. After a few hours of time hanging out on the cold ground coaxing him with treats and canned food, he warmed up enough for us to put a leash around his neck. He immediately relaxed! He got in the car and he went home with his wonderful foster, Tony. That week we had him seen by the Stagecoach Veterinary Clinic and he was given his vaccinations and was neutered. He tested ‘light positive’ for heartworm, so he’s on a regimen of meds to knock that out! He has settled in with his foster brother, Dudley and is becoming happily socialized. He spends time with the other fur friends as part of an extending human pack that enjoys game nights and brewery visit. He’s a very relaxed dog and chooses to sit at your feet inside the house. Outside he’s great on a leash! He is grateful for his pad at the foot of the bed and an all-around nice guy. He’s not quite house trained but he’s on his way! If you are looking for a dog to relax and enjoy a ‘Netflix and Chill’ weekend or one that can hit the trail, this is your guy!
