Nelly is one gorgeous gal! This 10 - 12 month old male Shepherd mix weighs in at 35 pounds and will probably reach a top weight of 40 - 45 pounds when full grown and filled out. She's the perfect size dog!
Nelly and her brother, Nicholas (also for adoption), came into our program after being abandoned by their owners, left in the fenced back yard to fend for themselves when the owners moved away. Fortunately, they were spotted by some kind people who began caring for them until they could get into the Out of the Woods program.
Now in foster care, Nelly has blossomed into the great dog she was destined to be. This smart girl is playful and loving. She has plenty of puppy energy, but loves to cuddle after the romp. Nelly currently lives with several other dogs and loves them all ... she also has a cat in the home and is good with it as well.
Nelly lives in a foster home with a doggie door and is 100% house trained using the doggie door. A fenced yard will be a must for this girl in her new home so she will have a safe area to play.
Nelly has been fully vetted (neuter, microchip, wormed, rabies and yearly shots). So she's ready to go and is going to make some family a wonderful pet!
