Meet Scarlett!  Scarlett is a sweet Husky mix who weighs about 42 pounds and is 2-3 years old.  Scarlett's favorite things are cuddling on the couch, going on walks around the neighborhood, playing outside and lounging around.  Scarlett is ticklish under her left ear, loves a belly rub and spins around in circles when she gets excited.  We don't know a whole lot about her earlier life, but we do know that this girl has overcome the odds and is ready for a loving forever home.  She was found on the side of the road after being hit by a car.  She had emergency surgery to repair the injuries and they found out she also had heart worms.  After heartworm treatment and recovery from surgery, she is doing great!  She still doesn't walk on her back leg very much, but that doesn't stop her from running or going up stairs.  This sweet and beautiful girl is ready to find a loving forever home.  She is housetrained, well behaved and not aggressive.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Companion Rescue- NJ

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
