Gem is a sweet, adorable, playful, 1 year old Calico girl... with fur as soft as a Chinchilla's and stunning green eyes. She's great with other cats, is a real cuddle bug, and even purrs at the vet office! Gem has adapted very well to the loss of her left, hind leg. We're not sure why the shelter removed her entire leg when it appeared to be a paw injury. None the less, she gets around just like any other cat and doesn't seem to know she's any different! This girl loves to wrestle, jump, and play with wand toys. She's so athletic, you'd never know she was special needs. We've had a few setbacks with the incision site healing but Gem has made a remarkable recovery. This special girl is ready for her Furever Home!! Be sure to watch Gem's video and fall in L-O-V-E ! ! !
