Abandoned for over 4 months, Lola Viola is a Jack Russell mix about 1.5 years old, ~30 lbs, spayed, leash, crate and house trained. She is dog and cat friendly and needs a quiet home (no small children) and preferably another sweet dog. She is still a little shy and little kids would probably scare her right now.  She  is located east of Tulsa, OK, Transport possible anywhere for a great home! To Adopt, please Message or email me PJBlakely@gmail.com.

Lola went to foster a month ago and what a transformation! After I caught her ... she was scared was to death and just hid in the dog house. I could not even touch her for 2 weeks, but slowly she decided I was OK and now she is a LOVE BUG! She loves to play with my dogs and gives me kisses. Sudden movements or noises still scare her a little ... she just needs some time and patience to continue her progress.

About Saving Whiskers and Tails

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers that realized the need for a rescue in our area for animals that are considered "last chance." We work with neglected, abused, starved, dumped, abandoned, injured animals. We have rehabed and adopted 2 Great Danes that were days from death because of starvation, a dog that was attacked by Coyotes, 2 gun shot victims, a dog that was purposely set on fire (we couldn't save her but we provided the vetting services for the family). We have rescued at least 50 dogs that have been dumped and abandoned including several mothers and litters that we work to get into rescues out of state.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are all in foster homes. One of our volunteers is always available to introduce prospective families to our pets, by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

We require the family meets the pet for local adoptions and introduces the pet to their family and other family pets. There is an adoption application. We reserve the right to ask for and check references, including vet references. The adoption fee is only our vetting fee and any transportation costs that may be incurred.
