Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Fancy" is a sweet adult female kitty who came to the HSOV on February 7, 2017 after a Good Samaritan found her in the Marietta Ohio area and brought her to the safety of our shelter. This little 'damsel in distress' needed extra TLC, and we waited about two weeks before taking her pictures to post. We apologize for graphic photos, but her eyes are actually looking 100% better than the day she arrived.
"Fancy" is a delightful little lady with the sweetest personality, and she has enjoyed loving attention from the very first moment she pushed her cute paws through the gate of her carrier.
This adorable girl has a seek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful chubby-looking face. "Fancy" is being temporary listed as a 'Special Needs Cat', and we look forward to the day we will post updated photos with her big golden eyes looking beautiful again.
"Fancy" was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution flea treatment on February 9, 2017. She will be spayed (at no cost to her new family) before being adopted and leaving our shelter. She is available for foster or rescue at any time.
UPDATE: "Fancy" has been diagnosed with feline chlamydophila on April 26th (which is essentially chlamydia of the eyes) which is contagious :( She will require a 4-week treatment of doxycycline antibiotic to help clear up her eyes, but the chlamydia could reoccur :( "Fancy" is such a sweet kitty and truly deserves a chance at the good like and a loving home.
Fancy was combo tested and is positive for feline leukemia. Rest in peace sweet Fancy as you departed this life on June 5, 2017 :(
