Buddy's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello, My name is Buddy. I am a 6 month old male Coonhound. I have been
raised in a home with a little boy and people who are home all day. I do my
business outside like a good boy and go to the door when I need to go out. I
love to play with my toys and I love my blanket.  I chase my tail around and
around when my family sits down to watch TV.  I have not ridden in a car
much but I loved my first ride recently. I am a very nice boy who would not
bite anyone, even if they tried to take my food.  My family is moving plus
they don't have the money to get me neutered and feel it would be best if I
moved to a home where the people appreciated and loved me more.  If you know
of anyone interested in giving me a forever home, please contact Ginny
Zeiber at 570-847-7905 or Robin at 570-374-0330. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Winfield Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Winfield, or seeking a Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Winfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
