Duke's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi I am Duke. I am very gentle and sweet. I love children and when I see them, I just want to give kisses and be petted! I am really good with not pulling on the leash when kids are walking me. I am not very curious but I will follow you whereever you go, then I will lay down by you. I love bones and squeeky toys. If you want to brush me, I will sit for hours! I like dogs and cats to play with me. I do sleep in a crate at night but I will bark for a minute or so. I will tell you when someone is coming, then when I see them, I will give kisses and wait for whoever to pet me! A few of my favorite pass times are looking out the window, laying by you and enjoying the fresh air.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Winfield Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Winfield, or seeking a Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Winfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
