Baron Von Bear's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bear is a pure bred 5 year old German Rottweiler and he is a sweetheart!! He loves to be loved.

He has shown lots of gentle kindness with all the people who have been around him since coming into rescue.  He takes treats nicely and learned sit very quickly.   Bear has been living at the end of a 4 foot chain, in the mud and was VERY excited to leave with his rescuers.  He seems as though he would be a very calm dog who would be very grateful to find a loving indoor forever home where he can be a true part of the family.  He was introduced to other dogs, both male and females, and did fine with them.  Bear has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations.

This handsome boy is desperately in need of a foster home or forever home as soon as possible

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baron Von Bear, a Winfield Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Winfield, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Winfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
