Marshall's Story...
Howdy folks I’m Marshall! I’m a 2-year old Beagle mix from KY and though I’m a handsome Beagle boy, I’m not short since I have these long legs and I weight 30lbs. I’m an active boy and I like to keep up on my fitness routine, so I would LOVE an active family. Did you know that they make doggie Fitbits? Maybe we can get matching ones and work on our fitness together! I’m really great with other dogs and I love all people and kids, oh AND I don’t mind cats. I’m still working on my housetraining since I was an outside dog so much. Did you know that the US Department of Homeland Security Has a Beagle Brigade? The US government trains Beagles to sniff out luggage at airports, helping to find contraband agricultural products and prevent them from reaching American soil. So as you can see the Beagle is a VERY valuable part of life! However, my nose is so good that sometimes I will just follow it and lose track of where I am. So I would need a supervisor in a yard that isn’t fenced in. Or if you have a fenced yard to contain my awesomeness then we are golden!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marshall, a Sugar Grove Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Sugar Grove, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Sugar Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugar Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugar Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugar Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
