My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a 7 yr old female spayed Rat Terrier mix. She recently arrived from California where her family was forced to give her up because they had too many dogs. They kept their older dogs because they knew they were too old to stand much of a chance to make it out alive. They were heart broken that they had to give her up. Instead of turning her over to the kill shelter they reached out to local CA rescues to try to find her a place. We were contacted by our rescue friends out there and agreed to take her. Bella was very loved by her family and it shows. She is very affectionate and she gets along with other dogs. She is very confused though and doesn't understand why she's here.
