Perkins's Story...
M16-279 - I’m Perkins. I’m a handsome gold guy about 8 months old. In early winter, I got in a little trouble when I misjudged the distance between the snow bank and the car turning into the driveway! Thankfully, I wasn’t hurt bad, just shook up. The driver quickly got me some help with Magicats! I had a dislocated shoulder and some other minor injuries that were mended with some weeks of “cage rest.” I was a good patient, and now I’m healthy and ready to become an INSIDE ONLY New Best Friend for some lucky family. I’m a mellow, cheerful guy who’s gotten along well with my other cat roommates and my super foster mom. I’ve also met a few other nice people, but so far, no dogs or little kids, so if you’ve got some of them, please be careful how we get to know each other. I’m neutered, current on my shots, healthy and negative for FIV/FELV. Pretty soon I’ll be coming to PetSmart to interview some folks and choose my forever family. Maybe it will be yours. If a short haired yellow guy is on your short list, we should definitely talk!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Perkins, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
