Joni's Story...
My name is Joni ~ The say I am a wolfhound mix and I am about 2 months old. I have had a very rough start to my life. I was rescued from an East Texas shelter as a stray with my brother, Joel. We were both so thankful to be off the street but then my brother got really sick and was put in the hospital, then I got sick and in was put there as well. My brother Joel didn't make it but I feel so much better now. I miss my brother but i am ready to find my own forever home to show my family all the love that I have to give. Is that you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joni, a Plano Irish Wolfhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Wolfhound for sale in Plano, or seeking a Irish Wolfhound puppy from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
