“I can’t believe I’m the same, skinny cat that entered the shelter hungry and dirty. I could not get enough food and I could not get enough love. It took awhile for my caregivers to find out what was wrong with me and when they tested my blood they found the answer. I am diabetic. I was wasting away. They didn’t give up on me. With the right treatment and special food I quickly blossomed into the handsome cat you see today. I am very grateful to my friends here. My new owner will need to continue with the special diet and give me two shots of insulin a day. It will be worth it when you see how affectionate and appreciative I will be.“
