This Is Max. He came to the shelter on 9/1/2015 and he and 3 of his litter mates are still here! Max is very shy! He needs lots of time and attention to help socialize him, but he is very sweet. He gets along well with his kennel mates and others here at the shelter. He weighs 28lbs, has been neutered and is up to date on all shots. Please someone take him home!

Our Adoption Process...

1. Fall in Love
Stop by the shelter to find your new best friend.
2. Meet with a Staff Member
Our staff will fill you in on the pet’s story & answer any questions you may have. These questions will help ensure that your new pet will be a great fit for your family.
3. Complete the Adoption
After you find the dog or cat that best fits your home, you will fill out an adoption contract.
 
Adoption Fees
The regular adoption fee for a cat is $30. For a dog $50.
To make your adoption speedy, please bring the following items with you:
• Picture ID with your current address
• Your landlord’s telephone number, if you’re a renter
• Proper form of payment (cash or check)
All adoptions include spay/neuter, rabies & dhlpv/fvrcp vaccine.
