Sophie's Story...
Hi, my name is Sophie.

I am an 8-year-old female Schnauzer mix being fostered in St. Petersburg.

I’m very sweet, friendly, and I love people, and I get along fine with my foster brother and sister Schnauzers—though I could take or leave them.

I like going for walks, but I’m a little overweight from my previous owner overfeeding me.

My foster parents have me on a diet and are keeping me active, so I’m getting back into shape!

If you’re looking for a loyal friend who’ll want to spend time with you, I’m your girl! Applicants must have a fenced in yard.

My fee is only $275 and no small children.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Winter Haven, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Winter Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winter Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winter Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winter Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
