Ace's Story...
Ace is a handsome boy that came from North Carolina. He was such a good boy he was used for testing the other dogs in the shelter. We are guessing Ace is a Lab/ American Staffy mix, but he is lab at heart. Ace weighs about 50 lbs and his rabies certificate says he is 4 (which was a guess at the vets office after getting out of the shelter), but he really seems more like 2 or 3 years old. Anything is a guess. Ace with sit, ask him to wait at the door and he will normally sit, this is a newer command for him, so it is still a work in progress. Ace loves to play with other dogs and loves people. He was in foster down in North Carolina for about 6 months and had run of the house and did not touch anything, he is a well mannered boy. Ace also loves kids and is looking for someone (or more) to snuggle with. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his shots. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Middletown Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
