“That’s another fine mess you’ve gotten me into.” That’s me, OliverHardy, and that’s what I told StanLaurel when we were in the shelter. But it’s okay because we were both rescued, and we are so glad to be out of the shelter and in foster homes. I’m still a young guy at about 10-months old (birthday 4/2016) and about 50-pounds, but I probably will be less than 60-pounds when I am fully grown.
My foster mom is teaching me how to be an inside dog—like, not going upstairs when I’m not invited (mastered it in one day) and not to jump up on people. I already sleep in my crate and I know to go potty outside. And I’ve learned sit, shake, down, and I’m getting better at walking on a leash. I do really well (on leash) unless I see someone who might want to pet me—but I am getting much better. My foster mom says I am very trainable!
I love running around in the back yard and napping on a couch...couches are very comfortable. As a pup, I still have a lot of energy, but I also know how to calm down quickly and not jump up on people when I am excited. I am very friendly and get along with other dogs (I want to play)...not sure about cats yet, but I love people.
Go ahead and fill out an adoption application and come meet me...I am ready for adoption as soon as I am neutered which is very soon.
