Leather's Story...
Leather!! Well this kid and his whole family have a sad Story!! Leather is one of 9 siblings that we rescued along with mama! The owners of this mama and the dad dumped the whole family off at the shelter. They just didn't wanna deal with them breeding anymore! On the way to the shelter the Idiot owner placed the mama in the back bed of the truck with the leash tied inside the bed and her new born inside the cab of the truck...Dumb dumb...Mama jumped out of the truck and he DRUG her through the back roads of TN all the way to tipton county shelter!!! She was soo beat up, Road rash, no pads left and just a mess...But alive!! The owner had "no idea" she was being dragged...
Well on a better note they are all safe with us!! We took everyone in!! We are altering all the pups this week and they will be ready for adoption asap!! Leather is a plott hound mix, Approx. 6months old and ready to learn and be the fun loving hound pup he was meant to be!! He will make a family very happy, so will all the siblings and Mama!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leather, a Blue Bell Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Blue Bell, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Blue Bell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blue Bell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blue Bell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blue Bell paves the way for another one to be saved.
