Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MILLIE WOULD MAKE A GREAT PTSD, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT OR SERVICE DOG!!!
Millie is a sweet, young Chihuahua mix who was rescued off the streets of downtown Mesa. Millie, once upon a time, had a family. However, the family moved leaving Millie behind.
Millie spent weeks sleeping in the street out in front of the house where she once lived before she was finally caught. She was taken in by one of the neighbors who gave her a bath and a warm place to rest, and now she is in foster with Saving Orphan Souls Rescue.
She is very sweet and social - apx. 11 months old, and weighs 5 pounds. She gets along great with everyone in the house as well as the other dogs. She is a love bug who is hungry for attention. Millie would be the prefect dog for an apartment. She goes out to walk 3 times a day, does her business right away, then back in the house to cuddle. She is a pleaser......she knows tricks, the word no, she wants to do everything to make you happy and thrives for this. She is great with women and kids, and will warm up to men if they take it slow. She does fine with the three men in the foster home, and did great at the vet with the dr and vet tech. We feel she would be great for a stay at home mom, someone with PTSD or a service dog companion, or a family with kids where she is able to be involved in everything the family does. We would be happy to discuss her more, but she really is a rare gem who picks things up quick and wants to make sure her master is always happy.
