Bud's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bud's Story...
Bud arrived at the rescue 2/28/17 after his owners passed away. He had been dearly loved after being found by a neighbor 9 years ago when just a puppy.
Now a hefty 137 pounds, Bud can stand to lose a few pounds. He loves walks and carries his weight well but will do better once he slims down.
Gets along great with all dogs, cats and humans. Enjoys long car rides and relaxing with friends; one couldn't ask for a better companion dog. At 9 years young Bud should have many years ahead. And p.s. he is cuter in person

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bud, a Creston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Creston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Creston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Creston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Creston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Creston paves the way for another one to be saved.
