Hello! My name is King. I'm a 2-year-old, 78 pound, fawn Pit Bull mix. I came to the SPCA of Texas through an animal cruelty rescue. My life prior to coming to the shelter was rough and I grew strong as I made my way through it. Then I came to the shelter. Once I had some time to adjust, I grew to like the people here, and even some of the other dogs. Now, I enjoy running around the yard and playing with toys! I am a very energetic guy and would love to find a family who likes to play and run. Because of my size and strength, the staff and volunteers don't think I'd make a great fit for families with kids and that's okay with me because I don't want to hurt anyone. I love giving big, wet sloppy kisses, but I get so excited about it that I don't realize my own strength! I also love getting belly rubs and treats. I am very food motivated and would like to go to a home where the treats are plentiful! If you are looking for a big goofy guy to join your family, I might just be the one for you! If you have other dogs at home, please bring them up for a meet n greet so we can check each other out. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on my age-appropriate vaccinations. Come see me today and meet the King of your dreams!
