My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This, adorable and handsome, boy is looking for his new home. Curly is about 3 years old and is possibly a Border Collie and Papillon mix. He weighs about 25 lbs. He has a cute prance when he walks.

He is very sweet and loves people, car rides and going for walks, although he would love some additional leash training. He is very smart and learns quickly. He could probably learn a lot more tricks easily, as he wants to please. His recall is not very good and will need someone aware of that and willing to go to school with him and a secure fenced backyard is a must. We will be seeking a home that has experience with smart dogs and training so Curly may continue to expand and improve his skills. Smart dogs do best with interactive owners who want them to have an education. I frequently would take him with me to work and he would be good in the car all day long. He is also easy to bathe and groom. He is an energetic happy dog, but not hyper and will settle down quickly and find a place to nap.

He would do well as an only dog and be the primary focus. He gets along OK with other dogs, but he is a bit insecure and larger dogs seem to intimidate him. He would ok with a playmate he is a match to. He tends to get along better with more laid back dogs and not so well with other dogs that are more dominant-alpha. He is not a good match to the large dog in his existing home so that is why he needs to be rehomed where he does not have to deal with a big dog. He would love a "girl friend buddy" with a kind nature to hang with and a loving human only family unit that can share life and love. He has also shared his home with cats. This is an amazing boy waiting for his amazing people.
