Mikey's Story...
Meet Mikey, a Party Schnauzer! Mikey came to Phoenix from Missouri on October 4th. He was most likely used to be a daddy for many puppies. Mikey is a little shy, but soo craves have human interaction. He constantly "paws" at me and wants to shake. He lives with a house of foster dogs and gets along well with everyone. He lives with cats as well and does not bother them. Mikey uses a doggie door, and I don't believe he is having accidents, but I can not guarantee that he is housebroken. Mikey was rescued by a vet in Missouri who neutered him, did his dental, and vaccinated him. Mikey will also be microchipped. He acts very livey, so his age is estimated to be 5-6 years old. His adoption donation is $200, refundable within 30 days if he does not work out. Mikey can be seen most evenings or on the weekends.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey, a Mesa Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
