Fluff was stuffed into a carrier with her three "sisters," covered in feces and food, and left at the end of the sanctuary's driveway for who knows how long. They were immediately bathed, dewormed, flea treated, and medically assessed. Their teeth were rotten (many of them gone), they all had terrible upper respiratory infections, they were underweight with matted fur, their nails were caked with litter, and they were beyond terrified. They had already been through so much, but more needed to happen to get them healthy. FINALLY, after a lot of work and time and patience, these girls are ready to find their forever homes. Although they still carry the scars from their ordeal, they become more trusting each day. Fluff, though the sickest of the group, has shown to be by far the friendliest. She is always one of the first cats to greet visitors and loves to be brushed and petted. Her sister, Dusty, has started to come out of her shell since being reunited with her, so we'd like them to stay together. They are up to date on vaccines, flea treated, dewormed, FeLV/FIV tested negative, spayed, and ready to go!
