Tigger's Story...
The wonderful thing about Tiggers, is Tiggers are wonderful things! Meet Tigger! 11 years young (plenty of spring in his step!), devilishly handsome (look at that fur!), and wonderfully outgoing (never met someone he didn't like!) Tigger found himself at DCACC with his mom Little Girl when his previous owner could no longer care for them. Not one to let a little set back get him down Tigger has faced this challenge with a can do attitude and a plucky spirit! He is ready to go out in the world and find a brand new family where he and his mom can spend their days snuggling and loving! Do you have laps enough for two? Come by the shelter and meet this mother/ son team! Tigger and Little One are fixed, up-to-date on vaccines, front paw declawed and they would love to go home with you! Thanks to the DuPage Animal Friends Tigger and Little One can be adopted for $1 each! Twice the love for only $2! Don't miss out on this deal of a lifetime!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tigger, a Wheaton Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Wheaton, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Wheaton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wheaton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wheaton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wheaton paves the way for another one to be saved.
