My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sugar! Sugar was saved from going to the shelter by a kind person who took her in when she heard that's where she was headed. She adored Sugar's sweet. loving nature and grieved over giving her up. However, she works two jobs and is rarely home so she knew it was not the best life for Sugar. This good Samaritan contacted JoJo's to see if we could help when she realized Sugar was probably going to have puppies. We took Sugar in knowing she was expecting and it turned out to be in the nick of time....Sugar had 5 puppies two days after coming to us.

We were told Sugar is a Chihuahua mix, and we know she must be mixed with a somewhat larger breed than Chihuahua as she is 27 lbs. (She may weigh a bit less than that when she is done nursing her puppies, so she would be considered a "large small" or a "small medium" sized girl.) Sugar will be ready for her forever home once her puppies are weaned and she is spayed, probably right around March 15th. She is going to make a wonderful addition to the family who gives her a home. She's a young girl -- only about 18 months -- and we are anxious for her to get a new start on life with a family to love her. She gets along great with other dogs, cats, children...everyone!

If you would like to give Sugar a home, please visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download an application, or email jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application.
