Sugar's Story...
Sugar takes after her much loved mom and was named appropriately!  This sweetheart is just three months old, a Labrador/Staffordshire Terrier mix a bit over 15 pounds right now.  Her mom is 45 pounds and we expect Sugar will not be any larger.   This little girl is most eager to experience the world!  She is the first to wake up, first to eat and first to greet new friends.  Sugar gets along with everyone.  She loves her humans and enjoys playtime with her canine family and friends.  She is quite smart and obedient, learning commands very quickly.  We think Sugar would be perfect dog for a family with children over 5 years of age.  She has lots of energy but once playtime is over she is very calm.  Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Sugar has been spayed, dewormed and is current on all her vaccines.  Sugar is available for adoption in either Victoria or Vancouver, BC.  If she sounds perfect, contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Victoria Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Victoria, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Victoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
