My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

York is a gorgeous boy who was a street dog in Puerto Rico. He came to us severely matted. He is great with other dogs, but can be shy of humans. You have to be slow with York and he loves a calm, sweet voice. York is a door darter, and he can run FAST. We learned the the hard way, but we can tell you he will make an excellent running partner and could handle some distance too for being such a small dog! Because he is a door-darter, we are requiring a fully fenced in yard or an apartment building that is secure, for his own safety. Once York trusts his humans, he will be your best friend and loves to be petted! No small children please. York would prefer a calm house hold.
