“ALABAMA” THEMED DOG: 3 years old / 52 lbs. Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. I'm one of the 21 dogs that were rescued from Alabama and within the short time I've been with Mostly Mutts I've made some good progress! I've lived outside my whole life so I'm enjoying learning how to be around people and become a beloved family pet! Everything is new to me and can be overwhelming at times, so I’m looking for a family with a nice calm home and a sweet patient nature! I’m very sweet and want your love and attention, I’m just really shy at times too. I haven’t totally figured out that people are nice, so sometimes I’m happy to see you and sometimes I shy away a bit, not sure what’s coming next. I’m very good with other dogs and think that a friendly and confident dog in my new home would really help me feel more comfortable and help me build my confidence! My leash walking is coming along and I even went on a little run with a volunteer recently. I do seem to look to people for leadership so I think once I’ve settled into a home and built a trusting relationship, I’ll learn to relax more. If you sit with me on the floor, I just may try to climb up in your lap. I’m not yet interested in toys or lots of new things as I am fearful with new things, but I know I can overcome with your love and patience. At times my crate is my safe spot and at times it’s not, but again, I’m going to figure this stuff out with my new family! Older calm and quiet kids please. Energy level: Currently 3-5, likely higher once I’m comfortable in my new home. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
