My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our pets based on personality, not breed label.

Cookie is a beautiful 1 year old spayed Coonhound/Doberman mix girl about 50 pounds, she is a playful high energy dog, always on the hunt for squirrels, cats and critters. Cookie does well in the company of well-behaved dogs, both males and females, Cookie should not be allowed to play with small dogs less than 20 pounds unsupervised as she may just be too rough for them. Cookie does well with adults and older children preferably over 10 years of age who don’t mind a dog that plays hard.

Cookie is currently getting Basic Obedience Training with a generous Police K-9 trainer who volunteered his time to train Cookie . Being young, Cookie is full of energy and will do better having a doggie companion to burn energy with, being a high energy furry person Cookie needs physical exercise as well as mental stimulation, he will do well with someone who likes to keep up his training, play, hike, run and then go home and snuggle.

Cookie is up to date on all her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative and has been microchipped. If you like to foster her or would like to adopt and provide a Forever Home for Cookie, call or text Lauren at 214-914-7368 or Miguel at 817-798-8416.
