Susan is a super sweet puppy, with cute look and pleasant personality. She’s very sociable, always greets people she met with a happy waggy tail. We’re not sure of her mixed breeds; she has the built of a short legged Dachshund, and the jolly trait of a Lab. She gets along with everyone, loves young kids, and is good around dogs and cats. Please watch her videos to learn how much fun she can bring to you family if she’s given the chance.

About Susan’s rescue:
We first met Susan and her sister Sue in the local animal shelter. The poor puppies, with severe skin infections, snuggled in the corner of the cage. We decided to take them out of the shelter and pursue immediate medical treatment for them. They went through a complete checkup and were treated for malnutrition and anemia. Now both puppies got a clean bill of health; they become lively and playful!

Susan is under loving care in her foster home. She is spayed, with up to date vaccinations, rabies, and microchip. She is ready for a forever home. Please open your heart and welcome this jolly pup to be part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susan, a San Mateo Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in San Mateo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy from a breeder in San Mateo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Mateo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Mateo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Mateo paves the way for another one to be saved.
