Figet & Cabernet's Story...
Figet is our beautiful senior girl that's had some bad luck over the past few years. She has recently found a purpose that's giving her a new look and spark to life. She loves little Cabernet! Figet has found her mini-me and a purpose in her foster home; to take care of Cabernet. She groom and comforts her. The two are adorable together so we hope that a kind person will step up and offer a home to a senior girl that has been looking for sometime and a young girl who wants to be loved. Please fill out an online application from our website www.hucatrescue.org and call or email us. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Figet & Cabernet, a Bristol Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bristol, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bristol.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bristol already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bristol breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bristol paves the way for another one to be saved.
