Coco's Story...
Coco is a gorgeous 9 month old German Shepherd mix. She weighs 45 lbs now and should be around 50 lbs when fully grown.
She is very sweet and friendly with people, and is great with children.
She is also good with other dogs. Her doggie foster sister has taught her the rules around the house, and they enjoy playing together.
She was found near an overpass, looking lost and scared. She had been there for several hours, but happily jumped in the car when the family who rescued her pulled up.
She is currently learning basic obedience, walking on a leash, and house training. She is a smart girl and doing very well.
She loves to play with toys, but has been very good about not chewing on furniture.
She is fully vaccinated and dewormed, heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped.
She is a beautiful, affectionate girl and will make her future family very happy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Olympia German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Olympia, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
